The Circle of Materials
Recycled textile fibres are at the core of many Pure Waste products.
Many of our current garments use a main fabric made from 60% recycled cotton and 40% recycled polyester. The exact composition can vary by product, so material information is always shown on the individual product page.
Our approach is to make better use of existing textile materials and turn them into fibres that can be used in new fabrics and garments.

Material Knowledge in Practice
We have worked with recycled textile fibres since 2013.
Our experience covers materials, fabrics, garment production and the practical requirements of everyday clothing. Product specifications, material composition, fit and care information are considered and communicated product by product.
Our goal is straightforward: to make garments that work well in everyday use while making use of recycled textile materials.

The figures below come from a cradle-to-gate LCA of a specific 200 g Pure Waste T-shirt made from 60% mechanically recycled cotton and 40% recycled polyester.
The assessment compared the T-shirt with the study's defined reference product made from virgin cotton and virgin polyester.
