Product description

Pure Waste, single jersey fabric, is made from recycled cotton and recycled plastic bottles. We use this light, flexible knitted fabric in all our T-shirts. The fabric pieces are approximately 133 x 780 cm and are sold in 2 kg batches. We use a pack of the single jersey of this size to manufacture eight size M Pure Waste T-shirts. The fabric costs approximately €6.40 per metre.

Over four billion kilograms of cotton goes to Waste every year when fabrics are spun, woven and cut. We could use that amount of material to produce three T-shirts for everyone on the planet. Compared to an equivalent product made from virgin materials, fabric from recycled materials uses 99% less water and generates 50% fewer CO2 emissions.

This fabric has been responsibly manufactured in India.

Please note that our recycling process is not entirely clinical and our products may contain small amounts of different coloured fibers. In dark colours, fibers of different colours do not stand out, but in light colours they are more easily visible. For us, these little coloured fibers in our fabric are a feature that reminds us of the uniqueness and origin of our products.
