Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to consumer purchases made through the Pure Waste online store at purewaste.com.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

These Terms are primarily intended for consumer purchases.
Business, wholesale and custom-print orders may be subject to separate B2B terms or individually agreed terms. Consumer-specific rights do not apply to business purchases in the same way as they apply to consumer purchases.
2. Products, prices and availability
Product information, prices and availability are shown in the online store.
All prices are stated in euros and include applicable VAT where required.
The final total price, including applicable delivery charges and other charges payable to Pure Waste, is shown at checkout before you place the order.
We may change product prices, product selection, delivery charges and these Terms for future orders.
The Terms and prices applicable to an order are those in force when the order is placed.
Product availability may change quickly. In exceptional cases, a product shown as available may no longer be available when an order is processed.
If fulfilling an order becomes impossible because of an inventory error or another exceptional reason, we will contact you and refund any payment received for products that cannot be supplied.
An obviously incorrect price does not bind Pure Waste where the pricing error is so clear that the customer should reasonably have understood that the price was incorrect.
3. Orders and formation of the contract
Orders are placed through the Pure Waste online store unless otherwise agreed with us.
You must provide accurate and sufficient information for us to process and deliver your order.
Please check your:
- name
- delivery address
- email address
- phone number
before completing the purchase.
You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally capable of entering into the purchase agreement.
When is the purchase contract formed?
When you complete the checkout and place an order, you enter into a binding purchase contract with Pure Waste.
We will send an order confirmation to the email address provided with the order. The order confirmation records the details of your purchase.
If you do not receive an order confirmation, check your spam or junk mail folder and contact store@purewaste.com if necessary.
Changing an order
Orders are sent for picking quickly after they are placed.
We therefore cannot normally change products, sizes, colours or quantities in an existing order.
If you notice an error in your order or contact details, contact store@purewaste.com as soon as possible. If fulfilment has not progressed too far, we will try to help.
The payment method cannot be changed after an order has been placed.
Cancelling an order before delivery
You may notify us that you wish to cancel or withdraw from an eligible online purchase before the goods have been delivered.
You can use our Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Claim form:
You may also send a clear cancellation or withdrawal notice to store@purewaste.com.

If a shipment appears to be delayed or lost, contact store@purewaste.com.
Separate orders
Separate orders are processed separately and are not consolidated into one shipment.
Orders are normally sent in one parcel.
If we exceptionally need to divide an order into more than one delivery, we will not charge additional delivery fees without your agreement.
7. Warehouse pickup
Orders may be collected free of charge from:
Pure Waste Textiles Oy
Läkkisepäntie 11 A
00620 Helsinki
Finland
Opening hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–15:00.
Please wait until you receive a pickup confirmation before collecting your order.
Products may be tried on when collecting the order.
Returns and exchanges may also be made at the warehouse in accordance with the applicable withdrawal and return rules.
8. Statutory 14-day right of withdrawal
Most consumer purchases of goods made through the online store have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
The withdrawal period normally begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If one order is delivered in several separate shipments, the statutory period normally begins when the final item or shipment covered by the order has been received.
You may also notify us of withdrawal before the goods have been delivered.
You do not need to give a reason for exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.
How to notify us
You can notify us using:
- our Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Claim form
- the statutory model withdrawal form
- a clear email to store@purewaste.com
- another clear statement communicating your decision to withdraw.
Our online withdrawal function does not require a customer account.
When you submit a withdrawal through the online function, you will receive an acknowledgement of the withdrawal notification by email.
Online form:
https://purewaste.com/returns-exchanges-cancellations-and-claims/
Merely returning the goods or failing to collect a parcel does not by itself constitute a withdrawal notice.
Returning goods after withdrawal
After notifying us of withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after making the withdrawal notice.
Statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal may apply to certain goods.
Where an exception applies to a product sold by Pure Waste, the relevant information will be provided before the purchase is completed.
9. Pure Waste 30-day return and exchange policy
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Pure Waste provides consumers with a voluntary 30-day return and exchange period.
To use the extended return or exchange policy:
- Register the return or exchange within 30 days of receiving the order.
- Send or bring the products back within 14 days after registration.
If you are only slightly outside these deadlines, contact customer service. We review late returns case by case and may accept them at our discretion.
The voluntary Pure Waste return policy does not reduce or replace your statutory consumer rights.
Product condition during the statutory withdrawal period
You may inspect and try on a garment in the same way as you reasonably could in a physical shop.
If a product has been handled more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, size or fit and its value has decreased as a result, you may be responsible for the diminished value in accordance with applicable law.
The statutory right of withdrawal is not automatically lost merely because a product has been handled more than necessary.
Product condition under the voluntary extended return policy
For a voluntary return made after the statutory withdrawal period, products must be:
- unworn apart from normal fitting
- unwashed
- clean
- in saleable condition
- returned with the original swing tags attached.
Products that are stained, washed, visibly worn, contaminated with animal hair or otherwise no longer in saleable condition may be refused under the voluntary extended return policy.
Sale and outlet products may also be returned under the applicable return rules unless a statutory exception or specific product condition stated before purchase applies.
10. Returns from Finland
For the fastest processing, register the return through our:
Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Claim form
https://purewaste.com/returns-exchanges-cancellations-and-claims/
Return by Posti
Pack the products securely and use the following return information:
Asiakaspalautus 640755
Pure Waste Textiles Oy
Läkkisepäntie 11 A
00620 Helsinki
Finland
Take the parcel to a Posti service point.
The return shipment is prepaid at the service point.
Pure Waste deducts a €3.90 return fee per physical return parcel from the refund.
Keep any receipt or return identifier provided by Posti until your refund has been completed.
Return to the warehouse
Products may also be returned directly to:
Pure Waste Textiles Oy
Läkkisepäntie 11 A
00620 Helsinki
Monday–Friday, 09:00–15:00.
Warehouse returns are free of return fees.
Please provide your order number when making the return.
11. Returns from outside Finland
Customers returning products from outside Finland arrange and pay for the return shipment themselves.
Register the return and send the products to:
Pure Waste Textiles Oy
Läkkisepäntie 11 A
00620 Helsinki
Finland
We recommend using a tracked delivery method and keeping the shipping receipt until the refund has been completed.
The return remains your responsibility until it is delivered to Pure Waste.
We do not deduct an additional €3.90 Pure Waste return fee from customer-arranged international returns.
12. Return fees and refunds
Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless another method has been expressly agreed with you.
Full return of an order
If the entire order is returned and accepted under either:
- the statutory right of withdrawal, or
- Pure Waste's voluntary 30-day return policy,
we refund:
- the amount paid for the accepted returned products; and
- the amount corresponding to the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.
If you chose a more expensive delivery method, such as home delivery or express delivery, the additional delivery premium above the least expensive standard delivery method is not refunded.
For a Finnish postal return, the applicable €3.90 return fee is deducted separately.
Partial return
If you keep part of the order:
- the amount paid for the accepted returned products is refunded
- the original delivery charge is not refunded
- the applicable return fee is deducted.
If the original order qualified for free shipping but falls below the free-shipping threshold after a partial return, we do not retrospectively add an outbound delivery charge to the order.
Multiple orders in one return parcel
Products from different orders may be returned in the same physical parcel provided that:
- each return has been registered, and
- the products can be clearly identified.
For a Finnish Posti return, the €3.90 fee is charged once per physical return parcel.
One order returned in several parcels
If an order is returned in more than one physical parcel, the €3.90 Finnish Posti return fee applies separately to each parcel.
13. Refund timing
For statutory withdrawals, we refund the payments due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice.
We may withhold the refund until:
- we have received the returned goods, or
- you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
For all accepted returns, we normally aim to process the return within seven days after it arrives at our warehouse.
Once we initiate the refund, the time it takes to appear depends on the payment provider, bank or card issuer.
14. Exchanges
Postal exchanges are handled by returning the original product and placing a new replacement order.
To make an exchange:
- Place a new order for the replacement size, colour or product.
- Register the original product as an exchange using our Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Claim form.
- Enter the replacement order number in the form.
- Return the original product.
The replacement order is a separate purchase.
Current product prices, delivery charges and free-shipping thresholds therefore apply to it.
The original accepted returned product is refunded at the price originally paid.
Exchange return fee
If all products in a physical return parcel are registered and verified as exchanges, we do not deduct the €3.90 Pure Waste return fee.
If the same parcel contains both:
- products registered as exchanges, and
- products being returned for a normal refund,
one €3.90 return fee is deducted for the physical parcel.
If all products from the original order are returned as a verified exchange, we also refund the original standard delivery charge in accordance with the full-return rules.
Warehouse exchanges
Exchanges completed directly at the Pure Waste warehouse are free of return fees.
A separate replacement order is not required where the exchange is completed directly at the warehouse.
Exchanges from outside Finland
For exchanges from outside Finland, the customer arranges and pays for returning the original product.
Normal delivery charges apply to the replacement order.
15. Uncollected parcels
Failing to collect a parcel does not constitute a cancellation or withdrawal notice.
If you wish to withdraw from the purchase, you must notify us separately using:
- our online withdrawal function
- the statutory withdrawal form
- another clear method.
If no withdrawal or cancellation notice has been made and the parcel is returned to us because it was not collected:
- we refund the product value after the parcel has been returned to us
- the original delivery charge is not refunded
- a €3.90 return and handling fee is deducted.
The €3.90 charge represents a standard contribution towards the additional return and handling costs caused by an uncollected shipment.
If you made a valid withdrawal notice before or while the parcel was being returned, the refund is processed under the applicable withdrawal and return rules instead.
If you still want the products after an uncollected shipment has been returned, place a new order.
16. Faulty, incorrect, missing or damaged products
Product claims are separate from the voluntary 30-day return policy.
The 30-day return period does not limit your statutory rights if a product is faulty or otherwise does not conform to the purchase contract.
If:
- a product is faulty
- you received the wrong product
- a product is missing from the shipment
- a product or parcel was damaged during delivery,
submit a claim using our Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Claim form or contact:
Describe the problem and provide photographs where useful.
Please wait for our instructions before returning a product that is the subject of a claim.
Statutory defect liability
Pure Waste is responsible for defects in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
A defect should be reported within a reasonable time after you noticed or should have noticed it.
A notification made within two months after discovering the defect is always considered to have been made within a reasonable time.
The primary remedies for a defect are repair or replacement.
The consumer generally has the right to choose between repair and replacement, subject to the conditions and limitations provided by law.
The remedy must be provided:
- within a reasonable time
- without cost to the consumer
- without causing significant inconvenience.
If repair or replacement is not carried out as required, is impossible, would cause disproportionate costs, or the other statutory conditions are met, the consumer may be entitled to:
- an appropriate price reduction, or
- termination of the purchase and a refund.
Termination is generally available only where the defect is more than minor.
If the defect is sufficiently serious, a price reduction or termination may be available immediately in accordance with applicable law.
The normal €3.90 return fee does not apply to an accepted product claim.
Pure Waste covers the necessary costs of returning or replacing a product in an accepted claim.
17. Products purchased from another retailer
If you purchased a Pure Waste product from another retailer, your purchase contract is with that retailer.
Returns, refunds and claims concerning the purchase should therefore normally be addressed to the retailer that sold you the product.
Pure Waste cannot refund a purchase price paid to another retailer.
This does not limit any statutory rights you may have against a manufacturer or another responsible party under applicable law.
18. Specially arranged deliveries outside the EU
Normal non-EU delivery is not currently available directly through our online-store checkout.
Consumers may contact store@purewaste.com to ask whether a separate delivery arrangement is possible.
Business customers should contact sales@purewaste.com.
If we separately agree to a non-EU delivery, the delivery method, price and relevant conditions will be confirmed before the order is accepted.
Unless otherwise agreed, the recipient is responsible for:
- customs clearance
- import duties
- import VAT
- other applicable local import charges.
If a shipment is returned because of customs clearance problems, missing recipient information or failure to complete required import formalities, the matter is handled case by case.
Direct return, customs, storage or similar third-party costs caused by the failed delivery may be taken into account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Gift cards and promotional codes
Pure Waste gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated when the gift card is purchased.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
Campaigns and promotional codes may have separate conditions shown in connection with the relevant campaign.
Unless otherwise stated:
- only one promotional code may be used per order
- promotional codes cannot be combined with other promotional codes
- discounts cannot be added retrospectively to an order that has already been placed.
20. Liability and circumstances outside our control
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
We are not responsible, to the extent permitted by mandatory law, for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control that we could not reasonably have prevented or overcome.
Such circumstances may include, for example:
- serious transport disruption
- strikes
- governmental or official restrictions
- exceptional natural events
- other comparable circumstances.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and fulfil our obligations where possible.
Temporary technical interruptions or maintenance may also affect access to the online store.
This section does not limit the consumer's statutory remedies relating to an order.
21. Intellectual property
The content of the Pure Waste online store, including its texts, photographs, videos, graphics, product information, trademarks and other material, is owned by Pure Waste Textiles Oy and/or its licensors or partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or otherwise used without permission except where permitted by applicable law.
Pure Waste® is a registered trademark.
22. Personal data and privacy
Pure Waste processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
More information about how and why we process personal data, how long it is retained and your data-protection rights is available in our:
Privacy Policy:
https://purewaste.com/privacy-policy/
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The Terms applicable to a purchase are the Terms in force when the order is placed.
Later changes do not retrospectively alter an existing purchase contract or reduce rights already acquired under it.
Material changes to these Terms will be communicated on our website where appropriate.
24. Applicable law
These Terms and consumer purchase contracts with Pure Waste are governed by Finnish law.
If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under applicable law.
25. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a problem concerning an order, please contact Pure Waste first:
We will try to resolve the matter directly with you.
Consumers in Finland may also contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services (Kuluttajaneuvonta) for guidance.
If the dispute cannot be resolved, a consumer may submit the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) for a recommendation.
The Consumer Disputes Board is an independent alternative dispute-resolution body. Its decisions are recommendations.
Nothing in these Terms restricts a consumer's right to bring a matter before a competent court in accordance with applicable jurisdiction rules, including the consumer's right, where applicable, to bring proceedings in their own country or place of residence.
